Yes. Day Tickets are available on our TICKETS page, along with Weekend, Family Bundle and Campervan tickets.

Yes, the cost of the ticket includes parking as well as full admission to the Jurassic Dance Campsite and camping in the tent camping field for three nights.

There is an additional charge for campervans and caravans of £30 for the weekend. This is essentially to cover a contingency for tracking and towing in the event of wet weather. A van camping ticket must be purchased separately to guarantee a pitch.

Please note that the car park is separate from the main tent camping areas but it is in very close proximity, ie, within easy carrying distance!

Yes. We will have an allocated field for campervans, motorhomes and caravans.

Only vehicles that have been specifically adapted to sleep and live in will be allowed. Unfortunately this does not mean work vans with a mattress in the back. 

No tents allowed to the side of the van to prevent contiguous fires and only one small/pup tent allowed behind each van. Van awnings are allowed. 

One car allowed with each caravan. This cannot be moved until the festival ends so if you think you will need to leave the site during the weekend, the car must be left in the car park.

A van camping ticket must be purchased separately to guarantee a pitch.

Also, please note that there will be no electricity or water hook ups provided.  

The extra charge for the camper vans is to cover for tow outs, repairing damaged farm land and chemical toilet waste provision. It creates a contingency fund for when the weather is bad and we have to employ ‘tracking’ and local farm vehicles to help clear the site. We’ve been thankfully blessed with the weather over the last three years but, without this contingency and should wet weather occur, the cost of laying tracking and towing out vehicles could seriously deplete the festivals’ finances for subsequent years.

The festival is on a working farm in the Purbeck Hills with unmade tracks and some arduous slopes so access is always going to be a challenge for the physically disabled. 

We have a separate accessible camping area for much closer to the main arena. We have also designated parking for Blue Badge holders situated adjacent to the camping areas. You will need to email info@jurassicdance.com to discuss this further and to book a pitch.

We will also have the Camp Gator, a golf buggy-style vehicle capable of carrying camping equipment for festival-goers requiring assistance. The Gator will also be available to able-bodied campers for a small hire charge. 

There will be no electricity or water hook-ups on site at all so if this is important you may want to look at nearby Woodyhyde Campsite which has full facilities.

There will be locked accessible toilets in this campsite and in the main event area.  Please contact a steward as you arrive for details.

Yes, there are hot showers as well as washing facilities and toilets, all of which will be regularly cleaned and inspected throughout the festival. There is a small charge for use of the showers.

Yes. There are several water points on the campsite for campers and general use.

There are no electrical hookups or phone charging points on site. The use of portable phone chargers is encouraged if you wish to stay ‘connected’ for the weekend. However, we hope most of you will take the opportunity to go ‘off grid’ and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of the festival. The festival programme will have details of the weekend’s schedule and acts and the lineup and times will also be signposted at various points in the main arena.

There are no cash machines on the festival site but there will be card payment facilities in the main bar and the majority of food and merchandise stalls.

If you bring a quantity of cash with you please keep your it safe and secure and don’t keep all your cash and valuables in the same place. 

Unfortunately neither open fires nor charcoal barbecues are allowed at the festival. Basically if it can create a spark, do not use it; the grass is tinder dry in the summer and it won’t take much to get it going. Gas-fired stoves/barbecues (raised up from ground level, either with a stand or on stable blocks) are permitted. The festival will have a communal fire-pit zone for those not ready to turn in straight after the live acts finish performing.

Chinese lanterns are also not permitted as they pose a threat to livestock as well as a risk of fire.

You can bring alcohol with you to the camping/campervan areas as long as it is not in glass bottles (see below).

Do not bring excessive amounts of alcohol as our security team may assume it’s for resale and you may risk it being impounded until after the festival.

No alcohol is allowed to be carried into the main arena; there are two bars serving alcohol at very reasonable prices.

The festival venue, Wilkswood Farm, is a working cattle farm for most of the year. Because broken glass would be an obvious danger to grazing animals, glass bottles are not permitted in the main arena nor the camping areas. This is in line with the majority of UK music festivals. If you arrive at the camping area with glass bottles you will be requested to return it to your vehicle or decant it into suitable containers; failing this it will be confiscated at the entrance. Beer cans and plastic bottles are permitted but we request that you use either the waste bins provided or remove your litter to leave the site.

Unfortunately, because the festival site is part of a livestock farm, we cannot allow dogs anywhere on the festival site with the exception of registered guide dogs. However, there are several campsites in the area that allow dogs: check out Acton Field and Tom’s Field in Langton Matravers and Harmans Cross Campsite, all of which are close to the festival site.

Unfortunately we cannot accept any other generators onsite other than those necessary for the live music, the soundsystems and the caterers.
